So onto what I wanted to share. We amazingly have managed a mini holiday. We went to see Julie (Damian's sister) in Tampa. It was a great trip and we all enjoyed the break from Winter enormously. But it is fair to say Louie definitely enjoyed it the most! That was because he has always wanted to go to Lego Land and being 5months in the tummy doesn't count. That was when we took the boy, Isaac, to Windsor's Lego Land in the UK in 2001.
So off we trooped and were made very welcome by Julie, who having taken pity on us from our recounting of the tail of woe of the Butterfly Tea Rooms, made us the most impressive Victoria Sponge Cake.
Seriously the best cake ever!!!!
In Tampa, their roads are quite huge and normally full of crazy drivers. So finding this new constructed road deserted was very much a surreal experience.
This is quite a boring shot, but showed the moss on the trees. The vegetation's has a really other world quality
Then of course they do this. Now I know this is a picture at speed and you have to look carefully. But those things in the ground are caravans put in end first to stand up like standing stones...........or in this case an advertisement for an RV sellers business.
Oranges!!!! Yes that's right trucks full of the sunshine fruit. I was quite excited about that. Until I reminded myself that this is a chief occupation for farmers in Florida, to make our orange juice, yes I can be quite dumb at times.
This is some of that moss close up and it even wraps onto telegraph wires.

The Mini Land place is so brilliant! and there are tiny lizards on all the models.........yes the Lizards are real!!!!

Down Town Disney has the wonderful Cique du Soleil...we were at a showing that day. I have seen the performance before, but as ever it was completely woweeee
While we waited to go to the showing, the wind was really picking up. Isaac's hair was flayling behind..........really windy and weird
Home to bed and happy delighted boys, the show was truly amazingly awesome fantastic..........all of the superlatives.
Ybor City
This is what happened when I tried to take a picture in the mirror of us all............MR F looks fantastic! We were now dinning in Ybor City. This is Cuban part of Tampa and it is quite a fun place. Our Italian meal was the best I have ever had!

Onto St Pete's and our favorite restaurant...shrimp shrimp and more shrimp as we like to call it. Although this is quite a statement they are making ! But here Lepracauns love everything! The great thing about this place is they only really do shrimp..or snow crab. Don't try and be difficult and order that, they are weird small bodied long legged crab, not Manx crab! I have had that nightmare and then had to pretend that is what I expected all a long...............well will I ever learn.
Damian is trying to be a Salty Sea Dog...yes I think he is fareing well, the beard does it.

Sea side behavior is parking on the waters edge and sunbathing in front of the car! WE are driving past on the highway..................it seemed dangerous to me, thinking parking break, thinking tide, thinking....................

Finally sunset at the Marina and a reason not to order raw fish again............I know I just don't learn. But it wasn't too bad............anyway on to Lego and being home
Louie's amazing theatre...he has worked on this for days and made a full theatre with projector...it plays lovely lights. Really awesome.
And Avicii....we love him and Louie for a surprise did a model of him for us....that Hey Brother always makes us cry and this is Avicii I think playing in Japan...........well I thought that it was fantastic!
Very hopeful that Spring may be coming and I hope to get out and about and do some more pics of WC. Today it is raining and we are thankful it isn't snow and till next time love to all Mx
