I took this picture one evening when I was checking my mail box at the front door. It was like a whole micro story. Maybe called 'leaf float'. What we're looking at is a spiders web, draped over some garden pebbles, the web is invisible. Then the water droplets have been caught on it like a net. The web is strong enough to hold the water in their individual droplet, which I think is amazing. In all of this the leaf has landed and been 'caught' invisibly and there you go. Super scene
To some a half dead leaf but I saw the most amazing vivid dark rich pink velvet leaf. Just stopped me. Talk about nature being bright!
And this one with pronounced veins right next to it. Kinda ying and yang
The setting sun on an amazing day
This of course is a tree literally shedding it's leaves. Really something when you see how many leaves come off one tree
Oh and rain drops on flowers
This is the effect most often I like to capture in Autumn. The contrast of the leaves and the dark branches because of the rain. Really something
Frosty mornings and leaf carpets
This was a glowing tree one morning
This tree has so many leaves left on but look at the floor! Wow, what 20 leaf bags I recon
This is a favorite, the flame bush
and more abandoned sofas. You actually start to feel sorry for the rejected furniture
Sunshine on leaves
ooh cobwebs in the morning
This is a lamp post covered in ivy. I couldn't get the colours to show but I rather like how this is dramatic
Spongeey plant. I've no idea what it is but I thought that it was definitely worth taking a snap of it
The autumn glory and this tree has so many different colours in it
There are berries and abundance of feeding for the birds
This tree was so vibrant and this was first thing in the morning the sun just up
The leaves are just every where and the colours so vivid
It is such an interesting thing that trees do, that switching off the photosynthesis. So does that mean they are this colour all the time? I think maybe they are
Stripey tree. It's like a complete autumn show in one tree
This yellow maple is delightful and I know the spots might look weird. I like them, dramatic flair
Grasses are also a favorite
Ah hello sock monkey
And interesting painting in town on the back alley doors
All the way along this alley they have been busy with the paint
Even on the slidey door
But these are pretty cool. Maybe I need a painted garage door thingey
perfect leaf
This shows you the range of colour this plant will do. This is flame bush and just one leaf turned so far
Oh and housing types in Waterloo
They are very cue and fairytale
This always reminds me of the Cornish Riviera era
Caught this for you!
and I'll do some paper shredding for you as well
See!
Oh the lions all together
We had a picnic in Southampton and what a lovely day that was
Silly pictures
I didn't know that Louie is so much taller than me. Wow!
Lots of that
and bench sitting
It was quite windy and my fellow photographer was wondering what I was doing....
This one knows the drill. Look off to the distance and mum will leave you alone
Love the line of clouds
Properly breezy
They have canons here....must be expecting someone
Now this photo was as the sun was rising and hitting this new building. Making it look gold. It is in fact black and white! I also like the light squares on the lower part of the building. They are actually just the light reflecting off them
I'm watching you
Mr Nuthatch
Mr Goldfinch
Some lovely pink morning clouds
Creepy praying mantis
This is sumac and this time of the year it is just amazingly beautiful
Vivid sumac colours
Spooky morning
and the tower looms!!!
I hope you have a wonderful autumn.
