pink is the color.....

I had to post this blog, the color pink is just everywhere and the flowers and trees are bursting here. I have also been playing with some camera thingeys on my phone and this is a sample of them. I hope you enjoy this feast for the eyes. It is just stunning what nature can do....
This is just a flippin' miracle and had to be posted.. you can fill in your own caption!

So clearing in the garden and I find these praying mantis cocoons....can't touch these babies they are protected..

You've got to admit that is truly awesome and although that is an over used word, for this it fits.

OH yeah fish eye picture...love that green

Horse Chestnut bud...so cool

Talk about pink, this is a veritable riot!

I thought that these looks like pink explosions on a stick! times three....

Early morning light and the forsythia is just gobsmakingly yellow!

No idea what this cascade of white flowers are but they are beautiful

magnolias are also going nuts and bursting into flower..

Such a beautiful weeping cherry...this is just like a confection

This cherry had bursting flowers even on the trunk..like a really beautiful "Alien" feature..

It is remarkable to think this perfection is nature

This is just so delicate

Fab tulip on the way home from dance...and a bit of camera magic

magnolia near our house....stunning

Get a tissue for this one!!!! It literally needs no explanation!

We miss you all!

It's Spring!!!!!

Oh I'm so pleased that it is Spring! we were all very fed up of the dregs of winter and boy does that get you down. But there is something about Spring here. It is warm...not too warm and it is hopeful, all those little buds pushing their way through. Just brilliant and it is hard not to be perky in Spring. Although a trip to the English Tea Room could pop your perk! We made an annual pilgrimage to get our 'English Easter Eggs' and they are the only place for miles about that sell them. Well they were snooty and rude (which is quite funny really). I actually didn't care as I wanted my chocolate :) and the boys were very much looking forward to the Easter Egg hunt....I had asked Isaac about being too old and he looked at me sideways........but I had to do the clues, he said...more about that later.

But before we spring into the frivolities....this is what we had as the last nod to Winter
Yakadoodle Ice!!! this was the last day the boys missed school because of winter weather and look at that ice, it falls on everything and you literally can't leave the house..........

It gets VERY boring.......

But now Easter is here and Spring has finally put a heavy steer on the weather and we are warming up nicely and ice seems a long way a way................

Easter Sunday and Damian is in a playful mood....

Seeing boy Number One off on the expedition of the garden, in hunt of chocolate

Second Son is just about to descend the stairs and take on his own hunt....full of in trepidation

So this is what I say about the boy who insisted on the Easter Egg hunt...."open your eyes" as you will see he is sauntering across the lawn...no hurry (mistake!!!!)

Finds the clue and doesn't look properly and misses the choc and even in the picture I can see it by his left knee....that cost him, as by the time he had come back in the house with the trophies he realized A. Louie had more choc and B. he had missed picking it up in his strolling lolling ways....and guess who ate it when he did go out ?....the squirrels and they had shredded the packing and no sign of chocolate smarties anywhere!!!!! that'll learn ya

At this point the full horror of the missing choc was not realized....

Louie literally pondering the next clue

Reading and then finding the stash...his face says it all

Number One son feeling happy with this catch

and to the end and the last more grown up final prize....

It says on the mug 'love you to the moon and back again...'

Isaac with a cunning expression finding his mug and his said 'you're the best' to which he replied 'I know'.............grrrrr

Eating said stash

Oh signs of Spring, how adorable

I saw this on a walk one Sunday with Damian in fact I think it was Easter Sunday later on....I really think this is cool, it looks like a tree....it is ivy on the side of a building....

We saw some buds...

This is a tulip tree ready to burst forth....

Now you may think that Damian is signing something rude to me. He isn't, he was messing about at the petrol station and being a Borg (from Star Trek) he had been one all week on and off and this was Borg out and about. I personally thought that this was a step too far. The petrol station is on a main road...he would have been seen.........but we were laughing in the car heartily and had to take a pic for posterity.

Me being sneaky again and this is us walking back from town the boys are gabbling on about Mind Craft or Star Trek and Louie makes a grab for Isaac, for company....

Manages public hugging...

Gets rejected and feels strange and a bit mad....hence part of Munches scream...

But gets the hand hold in the end....I managed to get this shot without them seeing....
Just to show you Isaac's lighter side...He decided that he would dress and for some reason dance for us one night

He leaves us in stitches when he does his routines and amazingly he does them quite often....pend up teenagering I think is the cause and of course Louie doesn't need any encouragement

In another moment of inspiration he donned one of his lovely smoking jackets.. this one is silk...he does look fab!

I am including this as this is as Louie said 'a blogable moment'....chips after dance class.....

More planting of stuff by the park and this time it decided to go for a walk down the street..again 24 hours later..it was gone!!!!

Louie and I escaped the other day and we were having gelatto and I took this shot of him. He can be a lovely subject and never complains about being photoed and is never over doing the pose...I really like this one.

So that's it for now. We will I am sure have more green and floral things to look at and I will try and broaden the repertoire....Love to everyone and I hope you enjoyed the show :) Happy Spring!
