Well I have to obviously start by congratulating Mr Damian Brunt Fozard, as he now has entered the halls of fame as a Plumber!!!! Flipping Nora he did it. I am actually quite stunned. I mean Mr Soft hands the original has pulled it off. OK so just to recap, he fitted a brand new boiler for the heating system of the house. He converted us from oil to gas and ! did all the electrics to go with all of that situation. It is quite impressive. Well actually I wasn't convinced and a sneaky bit of me was worried when the inspector came.
So how it works is that you can do all of the above and then boyo comes and checks that you are good to switch on. The chapie came along and basically was amazed that Damian had never done this kind of stuff before and here's the clincher he didn't charge us for the call out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never heard of that before. He said I can't charge you for admiring your work!!! OMG flippin beep, Damian is so Jamy. But I will say that he literally sweated with this and studied all he could and has been ever so careful with everything. He is following codes etc (although the flue out looks really ugly he told me about windows and carbon monoxide and yeah...........I still think it is ugly but well better ugly flue then dead us). So we are going with ugly flue.
I am so very proud of Damian and love the house being warm. Although I sense an obsession coming on for him as he says he will log on to the Peco sight to monitor the gas use.....wants to get right on to that. So for now he is still a little boiler man in his head, that's fine, wonder what he will do next...

This was Fancy Friday and picture day and Louie's pic (had to ditch the shoes after this shot, guess what smart shoes bought a year ago no longer fit!)
And Isaac's contribution to Fancy Friday. To be fair it is really early in the morning for those publicity shots.
Louie had a blast and as for Isaac and his wacky Wednesday Top hat outfit, they just thought that he was being cool. Funny. Also note to self, Fancy Dress here is not costume but smart attire........Louie nearly went as the diver on the smart day! phewee, little business man is so much better and the best bit he has a tie dye backdrop for his school photo for that day. Can't wait to see how that turns out.
